Obituary of Judith Ann Menard

Menard, Judith Ann, (nee Renaud) July 1, 1944 February 3, 2017 Judy passed away peacefully at the age of 72 years at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, after a valiant struggle with C.O.P.D., and Heart Disease. While clutching her younger sister Cindy's hand tightly she slipped away when her heart suddenly stopped and Judy then took one final breath. She was the loving wife of James Menard, Sr., (2003), and mother of Larry, Karen, Kris, and James Menard Jr., "Jimmy", (1990). She is survived by her sister Cindy, and brother-in-law, Brian Hay. Judy was predeceased by her parents, Rita,(1997), and Louis (2000) Renaud, her brother, Frank, (2015), and her mother- in- law and father-in- law, Alice and Clement Menard. Grandmother of Jordan, Jeremy and Julien. Special friend of Bill Bullick. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Judy was definitely one of a kind with a heart of gold. When it was in her power to do so, she would never turn anybody down at any given point in time. Cremation has taken place. The family requests that any donations in Judy's name be made to The Canadian Lung Association or The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. A graveside service and interment of ashes will be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, 5005 Howard Ave., on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 10:30am.
