Obituary of Jean Paul Seguin
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of John on February 26, 2017 at 89 years of age after a long and valiant fight with cancer. Reunited with his loving wife Mary (nee Marchi) with whom he celebrated over 50 years of marriage. Dear father of Lynda Armstrong and late husband Dwaine, Sue Reed and late husband Theo and Mark Seguin and wife Kathleen. Dear grandfather Gramps of Kevin Armstrong and wife Christina, Dana Zajacz and husband Ken, Christopher Reed and wife Eve and the late Chad Reed. Great grandfather of Braeden, Justin, Kallie, Jordyn and Tyler. Predeceased by his sisters Jean, Theresa and Annette and brothers Homer, Philip, Rudy and Gerald. Survived by his sisters Hilda and Laura Jean and brothers Dennis and Ozzie. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. John retired from Chrysler after 32 years of dedicated service. For those who knew John will always remember his determination and his constant need to repair things which he did right up until his last days. A special thank you to Dr. Hamm and Dr. Aouin and staff at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre for your stellar care given to our Energizer Bunny. Also, a heartfelt thank you to the staff and residents at Aspen Lake for your love, friendship and outstanding care given to John. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday February 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday March 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
