Dear Dave and Family: We are saddened to hear about the passing of your mom. Your mom and dad were always kind and thoughtful towards us. I still remember the first time you introduced me to your mom when she was working at a store. She asked me if I was an honour student. We both busted out laughing. When we visited Windsor one time we stopped by the house to visit your mom. She remembered Sandie but not me which was really funny. Another time, Dave, you told me your mom and dad were staying at the Travel Lodge in Calgary. I went to visit them, it was great to see them, and your dad told me that if I would have stayed in Windsor he would have built me a beautiful home. I''ve been crying ever since because I knew he could. I still remember when you and I boasted that we could insulate a house that your dad built in one day. We were lucky to finish before it got dark. By the way, did we ever get paid for that job? Remember when we were together with the band, The Power and The Glory, and were playing cards in your basement. Your brother Dennis came downstairs and said something like we were boring and is this all you can do. Your parents were wonderful and I have fond memories of them and your family.
