Obituary of Angela Sanson

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Angela on January 12, 2017, five days shy of her 90th birthday. Reunited with her childhood sweetheart and husband Mario, and her adored son Roberto Mario. Treasured and devoted mother of Lucy and husband Lee Marshall and Wilma Sanson. Cherished sister-in-law of the late Severino Sanson and wife Teresa and the late Antonio Sanson and wife Lucia. Zia of Marco Sanson and wife Theresa, Milena Piazza and husband Enzo, Loris Sanson and wife Sylvia, and Eddy Sanson. Step-Nonna of Renata and Kaya Marshall, whom she thought of often. She will also be missed by her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews in Italy and France. After World War II, Angela moved to Switzerland where she learned about patterning and acquired a passion for fashion. In 1956 when Angela moved to Canada to be with her husband, her fashion flare inspired her to teach herself how to sew. This talent lead to many beautiful outfits for herself, her daughters and even their Barbie dolls. In addition to being a dedicated homemaker and raising her three children, she worked for Stephen"s Flowers where she found a new love for horticulture and later worked for Work Wear Corporation where she made many lifelong friends. After the passing of Angela"s husband in 1991, she became involved in the Italian Community through her memberships with the Giovanni Caboto Club- Ladies Auxiliary and Trevisani Nel Mondo. Above all, her love for singing, dancing and telling basserlette. A special thank-you to the staff and the many volunteers at Fairfield Park " Wallaceburg for your care and compassion given to Angela and the comfort you gave to her two daughters.
