Obituary of Ernest Larry Ouellette

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Ernie on January 5, 2017 after a strong and courageous journey. Reunited with the love of his life Betty with whom he shared 52 years of marriage and his daughter Joanne and son Larry. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Clara and step-father Fred Becksmith. Cherished father of Steve and wife Paulette Ouellette, Debbie Little and partner Ron Hudon and Barry and wife Sue Ouellette. Adored Pipi of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Lawrence (late Lucy) Ouellette, Herwin (Barb) Ouellette, Trudy Smith, Patricia (Frank) Theoret, the late Roberta (late Johnny) Groves, the late Nelson Ouellette, late Philip (Carol) Ouellette, Janet (Tom) Lauzon, the late Jean Ouellette, Ed (Sheila) Ouellette. Step- brother of Florence, Freddie, Margaret, Thomas and Mary. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and his beloved fur baby Cody. Ernie retired from Chrysler Canada after 40 years of dedicated service. He will also be remembered for his love for golfing, fishing, The Montreal Canadians. Above all, his unwavering love and devotion to his family will never be forgotten. A special thank-you to the staff at Regency Park for your selfless care, compassion and especially friendship given to Ernie. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday January 8, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Monday January 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery for committal prayers to follow. In memory of Ernie, donations may be made to the Charity of Choice.
