Obituary of Sharon Lee Esipu

ESIPU, Sharon (nee McDonnell) Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on January 2, 2017 in Windsor, ON at the age of 78 years. Loving mother of Darrell Dupuis, the late Cheryl Dupuis (1977), and Cindy Dupuis. Cherished grandmother of Crystal, Randy, Jessica, and D.J. (Jayna). Adored great grandmother of 9 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Marlene (Edward), her brother James, and her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Sharon was a dedicated employee at the GM Trim Plant and retired in 2000 after 37 years of service. She was also a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255. Mom loved playing bingo and cards with her spare time, especially Pepper and Euchre at the local legions. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff on the ICU at WRH Ouellette Campus for their special care of mom, especially Dave. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 12 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario in memory of Sharon are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
