Nancy and Doug were the first people to befriend us when we bought our cottage in 2005. Only eleven years but it seems much longer than that because they have been such wonderful friends to us and the younger members of our family. At Beckley Beach much time was spent during the summer exchanging news, life stories, mulling over Beckley life, often looking out over Lake Erie with a glass of wine in our hands. Nancy was an incredible lady she always had a smile on her face no matter how much pain she was in. Her kind and loving ways will be so missed especially by our family and by many at Beckley. We count ourselves very fortunate to have known such a great lady. Thinking of you Doug at this very sad time. Val and Paul (Cornwall, England.)
