Obituary of Zlata Stark

STARK, Zlata<br/>Our cherished wife, mother and beloved grandmother, was called home by our Father at the blessed age of 87 from Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette campus on September 17, 2020. The love of her life, her husband, Bogomil, of 63 years, will miss her deeply. Together they raised two daughters, Josephine (Jozica) Stark Scarfone (David) and Anne Zagar (Mario). She had four grandchildren, Sara Anne Scarfone, and Connor Robert, Ian Louis and Ryan Alexander Zagar. She escaped from Yugoslavia, eventually making her way to Canada in 1956, settling in Windsor. She and her husband Bogomil, built a beautiful life and their family. She worked hard and always had a smile on her face and a word of encouragement regardless of the situation. She was never too busy or too tired to do anything for her family. Her loving presence is a deep loss to her family, but we know that she is at peace. May God bless her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If you wish to attend the Funeral Mass, please call Windsor Chapel to book reservations from 8-4 Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are not required for visitation.
