Obituary of Eugenia Sztajnberg

SZTAJNBERG-BAUMRITTER, Eugenia April 13, 1917- December 24, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the patriarch of our family at the age of 99. Predeceased by husbands, Ignacy Baumritter (1964) and Jan Sztajnberg (1992). Loving mother to Steve Baumritter (Fern) and Ela Chrominska. Beloved Babcia to Shelly Girard (Jason), Jon Prashek, Piotr Chrominski, Bryan Dennison (Shannon) and Jillian Thompson (Matt). Dearest "Baba" to Brett and Alyssa Girard, Brendan, Jade and Trista Thompson, Josh, Jayne and Jaxx Dennison. Survived by many nieces and nephews in the Ukraine, Poland and Canada. Eugenia was a long time member of the C.W.L., Polish People's Home Association, and Holy Trinity Polish Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 6 - 9 pm. Parish prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral services on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:15 pm. from the funeral home then to Holy Trinity Polish Church (1035 Ellis St. E.) for Funeral Mass at 2 pm. Interment to follow at St. Anne Cemetery, Tecumseh. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.
