Obituary of Elio Fogolin

Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Oak Park Terrace on November 8, 2016. Born in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy on July 7, 1931. Beloved husband to his late wife, Yvonne. Loving father of Paul and the late Robert (Nov2009). Elio is survived by his sister, Agnese Pupulin and his grandchildren Vanessa, Robert, Evan and Brenda. Great-grandfather of 2. Elio will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family in both Canada and Italy. Predeceased by his parents, Gino and Maria, and his brother Mario. Good friend and cousin to Valerio Clozza, who was Elio`s caretaker for the past few years. A quiet and gentle man, Elio loved his home, garden, and was a man of many skills. He was a long time member of both the Fogolar Furlan Club and the Giovanni Caboto Club. A special thank you to the dedicated staff at Oak Park Terrace for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10am. In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Elio's name.
