Obituary of Kenneth Edward Rowland

Passed peacefully away on October 28, 2016 at 77 years of age with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband and best friend to Neileen (nee Mulvaney). Dear father of Ken and wife Kim. Kevin and wife Ghislaine, Korry and wife Debbie, Keith and wife Sheila, Rebecca Maguire and husband Dan. Cherished grandpa of Erin, Samantha, Mitchell, Jordan, Scotty, Nicholas, Felicia, Kristina, Dalton, and Ashley. Adored great-papa of Kallia. Predeceased by his loving parents Albert and Winnifred Rowland and siblings George Rowland (Mary), Bill Rowland (Phyllis), Vi Fry (Gord), and Shirley Eastham (Harry). Dear brother-in-law of Larry Mulvaney (Carol), Sharon Janisse (Albemy 2006), Len Mulvaney (Pat) and Diane Pastorius (Tom) and the late Gerry Pastorius. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Ken will be missed by many family and friends. Ken worked at Tucker Electric, Windsor Public School Board, Windsor/Essex School Board,and H&E Comfort Controls Ltd, which is now Divergent. Founding member of the McGregor Sertoma & Windsor Sertoma. A special thank you to Dr. Stressman, Dr. Wasserman, Dr. J. M. Bastien and the staff of 6 West & 7 North at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm. Family and friends are invited to meet at Our Lady of Assumption Church (711 McEwan Ave.) on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow.
