Obituary of Olha Marie Drul

DRUL, Olha "Olly" (nee Kowal) It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother, Olly, surrounded by her loving family on October 22, 2016 at the age of 91. Reunited with her beloved husband and soulmate Myron (2012). Loving and devoted mother to daughters, Dolores Drul and Iris Reaume (Randy), and Baba to granddog Tasha. Predeceased by sisters Lesia, Anne and brother Peter. Olly will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was an outstanding, active member in the Ukrainian Community. She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Vladimir"s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. Olly will be sorely missed, but has left us with a lifetime of fond memories. A heartfelt thank you to Henry Ford Hospital, CCAC, Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus, Dr. Chow and the 8th floor West Staff for their excellent and compassionate care provided to mom. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday October 27, 2016 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers (Panakhyda) at 7:30 pm. Family and friends are requested to meet on Friday October 28, 2016 at St. Vladimir"s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (2000 Tecumseh Rd. E.) for visiting from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 am. The Very Rev. Archpriest Roman Kocur officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to honour Olha"s life may be made to St. Vladimir"s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
