It is with such a heavy heart that I write this message to you dear Sandra, and the rest of the family. I am so very sorry for the loss of your (my) dear Peter. He was a very special uncle. I have so many fond memories. One of the most memorable is my name pattikins which uncle peter gave me as a young child, and has stuck right into my grown adult life. No one else has ever called me this so it remains forever HIS name for me. I'm so sorry he had to struggle with such a terrible disease. I lost my mom to the same many years ago, so I'm fully aware of the whole palliative care routine. Sandra, , I know you were the love of his life and his best friend. I can't even possibly imagine how you must be feeling right now, but know you are in our thoughts and our prayers here in Keswick. I would love to somehow keep in touch with you. To the rest of uncle peters siblings and Sandra, I pray you will be comforted knowing that uncle Peter is now with Gradma and grandpa and Jesus in heaven. And one day we will all be reunited as believers in Christ. Please be kind to each other and yourselves during this difficult time. Reflect on the life of Peter that blessed us all and give thanks. Cherish the memories and speak of them to each other often to keep the life he lived honoured, remembered and precious. May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen. You are loved xoxoxo xox patti Pattikins
