Obituary of Florence Bernadette Baillargeon

94 years young, of Tecumseh, Ontario, decided to use her return ticket on Wednesday afternoon, October 12th, 2016 to be with family and friends that she had been missing for a long time. She was seen 'blowing kisses' to her late beloved husband, NORBERT ARMAND BAILLARGEON, who she shared a marriage with for 55 years. Others she recalled were her sons REGINALD and ARMAND, her daughter BERNADETTE, her grandson KIRK, her 'MA and PA', her brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and good friends too numerous to mention. This unique and remarkable woman's hands were always busy, whether it was caring for her six children, working the fields on the farm in the earlier years, playing cards, bingo, sewing, making rosaries and not to forget, praying on her rosary for those who she thought needed extra help. Days before she left this earth she was looking for her scissors to finish that housecoat! Florence's work is finally done and she truly deserves that much needed rest. There are many of us mourning her passing, including her son DENNIS and spouse PATRICIA, daughter PAULINE, daughter JEANNETTE and spouse ERIC, her daughters-in-law, SUE (ARMAND) and ILA (REGINALD), grandchildren ANNETTE, MICHELLE, CINDY LYNN, CHELSEA, CAROLYN, KIRK, JODIE, KYLE, CHRISTINE, JAMES, TYLER and their spouses, ten great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. There's also her cousins, nieces and nephews and their families and the multitude of friends she made throughout her lifetime. Florence always told us how much she loved being around people and they in turn loved being around her. Come celebrate her life with us at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234 during visitation on Sunday, October 16th, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and at the Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 2pm with cremation to follow. Her good friend Father Gerry Campeau officiating. Some final parting words from this beautiful and caring person were 'I LOVE YOU' And we will always love you, Florence, and are truly grateful for your love and for being in our life. Her family wish to extend a special 'thank you' for the love, care and concern that she received from the nursing staff and residents at Banwell Gardens Nursing Home. Her final years there were happy ones for her and it put our minds at ease that she received the love and dignity that she deserved. Another thank you to the nursing staff at Met Campus for their compassionate care during our Mother's final leg of her journey when she used that return ticket.
