Obituary of James Singleton

Passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on October 9, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend to Maureen, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Cherished father to Linda MacPherson. Proud grandfather to James and his furry grandson Max. Reunited with his sisters Rita and May. Will be missed by his nieces Phyllis, Carol, Rita, May, and Deborah, and nephew John all of Scotland. Dear brother in law to Phyllis (Al), Annette, Tommy (Rosina) of Canada and John of Scotland and his many nieces and nephews of Canada and the United States. James leaves behind many very close and dear friends, and golfing buddies. The family would like to thank Hospice of Windsor, CCAC and family Dr. Dave Paterson for all of the care and compassion shown to James. At James" request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to Beach Grove Golf and Country Club (14134 Riverside Dr. E.) on Friday October 21, 2016 at 3 pm for a Celebration of James' life. Family and friends are invited to Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory Site) (13789 St Gregory's Rd) on Saturday October 22, 2016 for Memorial Mass at 11:00 am. Private family interment to follow.
