Celebrating the life of Pearl Marie McIntyre
October 30, 1930 - September 9, 2020

Pearl passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the WRH Met Campus on September 9, 2020. Pearl was born in Windsor, Ontario October 30, 1930, wife of late Harry R. McIntyre. Pearl and Harry were married 63 years and had 5 children, Larry (who passed in 2017), Judy, Emerson, Chris and Ted. She dedicated her life to her family, raising their children, running the household and supporting Harry’s role in Stock Car racing. She also loved working at Roseland Golf Club and various other establishments in the restaurant industry.

Pearl was very much a social butterfly. She enjoyed gatherings and playing cards. She loved being around others and it’s no coincidence that she loved and collected butterflies throughout most of her life. We would like to thank her Personal Support Worker Cheryl and the staff at Metropolitan hospital especially Alecia for the awesome and personal care they provided.

Pearl was also survived by her brother Fred Peltier and sister Bernice Chevalier, several nieces and nephews and was loved and will be missed by 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Due to Covid the family will hold a private service where a private family inurnment will take place and she will join Harry. A gathering to celebrate Pearl’s life will take place at a later date. The family asks to say a prayer for Pearl and loved ones who’ve already passed. Pearl faithfully donated to the Cancer Society and in lieu of flowers you may make a donation in her name.
Arrangements entrusted to
Windsor Chapel Central
519-253-7234
The family invites you to share your memories at www.windsorchapel.com
