Obituary of Peter Albert Morand

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, after a brief illness on September 25, 2016 at the age of 64. Loving husband and best friend to Jackie (Van De Ven) for 40 wonderful years. Cherished father to Adam (Ashley), and Dana (Jordan). Peter will be waiting and watching anxiously from heaven for the birth of his first granddaughter, Ava. Dear brother to Martin (Rose). Predeceased by his parents Albert and Marie. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Peter retired from Ford Motor Company after 31 years of dedicated service. Fondly remembered by those who knew him well, for his sense of humour, love of nature, great times at the cottage and devotion to his family. He will be missed by his loving furry companion, Roxy. At Peter"s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday September 29, 2016 from 2:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 5:00 pm. In kindness, memorial donations may be made in memory of Peter to Hospice of Windsor Essex County or Windsor Regional Cancer Clinic or Canadian National Institute of the Blind (CNIB).
