Obituary of Patricia Anderson

It is with love and sadness in our hearts that we, Teresa and Vincent Meloche must say that our youngest child, Patricia, has passed after a brief illness. Patricia is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Richard (1998) and her loving and caring partner, Patrick (2015). Fun loving sister to Terry, Suzanne, Paul, and Cathy. Aunt Pat will be sadly missed by many loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom she cherished deeply. So proud of her much loved nephew/Godchild, Chad Allen. Patty was a resident of Chicago for 35 years where she graduated from College of DuPage, (Health Sciences) bringing her a 30 year career at various hospitals. Patty will be greatly missed and remembered by her many friends and colleagues in the Chicago-land area. Patty returned to Canada upon retirement making her life journey "a full circle", and was so happy to be back on Cedar Island where she enjoyed the sunsets, fine dining, and wildlife. Patty devoted her time to volunteering for the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Windsor Public Library. Patty also became a certified Aqua Fitness instructor obtaining 3 Water ART certifications during retirement. In kindness, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor. On Monday, October 3, 2016, Patty"s family and friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church (Lasalle) after 10:00am until we celebrate Patty"s life with a Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
