Obituary of Ronald Stephen William Killen

Killen, Ronald "Ronnie" Stephen Passed away peacefully on September 19, 2016 at the age of 83 years with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Murtagh) 2011. Son of late Leo & Pearl Killen. Cherished father of Karen Jacob and Maureen & Doug Collins. Loving Gramps of Jocelyn (Ryan) and Sean Jacob; Jordan and Shelby Collins. Proud Great-Grampa of Emma. Brother of Kenneth (2013) (Irene) Killen. Brother-in-law to Joe & Marg Murtagh, Jack & Diane (2015) Murtagh, Rose (2005) & Ken (2010) Reaume. Father-in-law to Richard Jacob. He will be missed by many family & friends. He will be remembered as an avid Detroit Red Wings fan, for his love of golf and by his years of service at the Hook and Ladder Club. The family would like to say a special thank you to the Palliative Care Team at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare, Dr. Wally Liang & Dr. Jeff Cohen for their compassionate care given to our Dad & Gramps. Also a special thank you to Mugsy. As per Ron"s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, September 23rd at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
