Obituary of Rocco Cardone

Cardone, Rocco Passed away peacefully on September 19, 2016 with his family by his side at 89 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Gaetano and Angela. Loving husband of Lina (nee) Martino, his companion of 45 years. Cherished father of Nicola. Predeceased by his siblings Nicola, Leonardo, Francesco, Costanzo, Benito and Giacomo. Rocco is survived by his sister Stella Carella and her husband Luigi (Gino) of Italy. Rocco will also be missed by sisters in law Maria Martino (nee Rose) and Maria Martino (nee Pantuso) and by sisters in law Pia and Anna Cardone of Montreal and Ana Cardone of Venezuela. Rocco also leaves behind many nieces, nephews as well as Anyela, Anyelly and Alejandro in Venezuela. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E (519) 253- 7234 on Thursday September 22, 2016 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service on Friday September 23, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home, going to St.Angela Merici Church for mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness memorial tributes in Rocco's memory may be made to the Lung Association Essex County or to Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus I.C.U. Foundation.
