Obituary of Wilma Alice Whitehurst

WHITEHURST, Wilma (Nee LaPensee) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wilma on September 2, 2016 at the age of 65. Beloved mother of Tammy (Simon) Wicks. Dear sister of Larry LaPensee, JoAnn Elschner (2011), Lynda Orum (2008), Louie LaPensee (2012) and Cheryl Hachey. Predeceased by parents Denis and Geraldine LaPensee. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you, for the compassionate care of Dr. Yap, Dr. Aoun, to all the Staff and Nurses from WRH Ouellette Campus and HDGH - Y. Emara. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. with the Funeral Service at 8 p.m., in the Chapel. As per Wilma"s wishes Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
