Obituary of Simon Joseph Christ

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Simon on August 31, 2016 at 59 years of age. Left behind is Simon"s family, Nancy (nee Handysides), Allison (Phil Gatti) and Rachel (Peter Senay). Predeceased by his mother Maria. Also left behind is his father Simon and sister Ingrid (Brian) Trudel. He will be missed by his in-laws Isabell Dalgleish, David Handysides and Patty Handysides. Simon retired from Enwin Utilities after 33 years of dedicated service. After retirement, he became a hydro instructor at St. Clair College. He was a lifelong fan of the Oakland Raiders, Formula 1 Racing and golf. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Saturday September 3, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
