Obituary of Jack Stephen Oslovcan
Jean (Nee Bourke) has lost her devoted and loving husband of 50 years, Jack. He was a proud dad to Sheri and husband Brian Souilliere and a loving papa to Christine, Matthew and Kathrine. Dear brother of the late Theresa (1994) and Edward (2010) Sambol, Anne and the late Tom (1995) Smark and brother in law to Ruth and Maurice Lyski, Joan and George Beauregard and the late Eileen (2014) and Paul (1996) Oversby. Always remembered as Uncle "Jake" to his many nieces and nephews. Jack worked at Chrysler Canada until his retirement in 2000. He will be remembered by his long time breakfast friends, especially Larry LaBell and Doug Raper. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8919, the K of C Choir and parishioner of Our Lady of the Atonement for many years. A special heartfelt thank you to Mike Agius for his continued support during this difficult time. We have met so many fantastic people on this journey. A huge thank you to all the Dr."s and Nurses, including Dr. Shamisa and the staff at 8 east Neurology at WRH " Ouellette Campus, Dr Schneider and staff on the Oncology floor at WRH-Met Campus, as well as all the nurses and staff at the HDGH Pallative Care Unit, 3 south. Visitation will take place at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, Windsor on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6-9pm with K of C Prayers at 8:30pm. The Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00am with interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Catholic Cemetery.
