Obituary of Inez Veneita Payne

Passed away peacefully on July 23, 2016 at 92 years of age. Predeceased by parents William and Jesse Morgan. Predeceased by siblings Bernice (Harley) Kersey, Sylvia (Bishop Arthur) Harrison, Lloyd Morgan, Otto Morgan, Robena (Fred) Wilson, Loretta (Emerson) Crosby, and survived by Vivian (Davis) Dean. Predeceased by her husband (David) and children, David (Mary Ann), Charles (Ileen), Agnes (Walter). Inez is survived by her sons Cameron (Christine), Sheldon (Tamara) Muise. Proud grandmother of Douglas (Tricia), Kimberly (Kenneth) Crosby, Christine (Mike) Hanson, Charles (Heidi), Daniel (Tanya), David (Karen), Marlene, John, Jade (Todd), Crystal (Colin) Grimmond, Morgan (Olatunji) Shorinola, Jasmine (Jeremy), Jared, Janessa, and Tamika. Great-grandchildren Joshua (Brittany), Jordan, Jesse (Joelle), Jocelyn (Jules) Carreira, Michael, Tyler, Andile, Aphiwe, Jacquelyn, Isaiah, Madison, Michael, Elizabeth, Phillip, Saige, Ruby, Taylor, Tannor, Isaiah, Faith, and Clarke. Great-great grandmother of Ella, Adin, and Ayenna. Also survived by a host of cherished nieces, nephews, and friends. Inez was a dedicated homemaker for the Red Cross until the age of 72. Mother Payne (Iney) passionately sang praises to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for more than 87 years. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service in her honour will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 28, 2016, at Parkwood Gospel Temple (3005 Temple Dr. Windsor, Ontario), with family hour starting at 10:00 am.
