Dear Pam and family: My mom Mary and I were deeply saddened to learn of your dear mom''s passing. We will so miss seeing Shirley and her lovely smile during our stroll through her Riverside unit. When my mom first moved to Extendicare over five years ago, Shirley was one of the first residents she met. We would always see your mom, in her big motorized wheelchair, outside enjoying a cigarette, and we would have many friendly conversations with her. As you know, my mom was always enthralled with the many beautiful items (and teddy bears!) you lovingly decorated your mom''s room with. We will remember Shirley for her warm smile (which was there even when she was in pain) and friendly demeanour - a lovely woman in all respects! Pam, the love and devotion you had for your mom was also so lovely to see. My mom and I extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to you and the entire Brown family at this sad time.
