Obituary of Gerardo Cesidio Colaluca

COLALUCA, Gerardo Passed away peacefully on July 12, 2016 at 83 years of age. Loving Husband of Gerarda (nee Tullio) for 61 years. Dear Father of Paul Colaluca, the late Maria Furj (nee Colaluca), John and wife Laura Colaluca, Tony and wife Rina Colaluca and Joe and wife Josie Colaluca. Cherished Nonno of Steve (late Adriana), Jeff (Nicole), Samantha (M.J.), Maria (Emmanuel), Joe (Nana), Jenna (Mark), Daniela, Vanessa, Jessica, Jerry, Joey and Bianca. Bis Nonno of Avrey, Elle, Ariella, Isabelle and Siena. Cherished brother of Mario and wife Antonietta Colaluca. He is survived by his Zia Loretta Farina. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Gerardo retired from the Ford Motor Company after 25 years of dedicated service and was also a proud and long-time member of the Ciociaro Club and the Ciociaro Choir. Gerardo will always be remembered for the beautiful garden he grew. Above all, his devotion and love that he had for his family will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (East Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday July 13, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday July 14, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service Friday July 15, 2016 at 9:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
