Obituary of Lena Nestor

NESTOR, Lena "Lea" (nee Skrumeda) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 3, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Melvin (1994). Loving mother of Wilma and husband Mike Kryworuchko and James and wife Tami. Dear grandmother (Baba) to Michael Kryworuchko, Hailey and Avery Nestor and predeceased by granddaughter Sonya (1978). Predeceased by brothers George, William, Mike, Alec, Nick, Johnny and sister Doris Swidarski. Also predeceased by many brother and sisters in law. Survived by her sister in law Jean Landego. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Baba spent her life caring for others. Our family was always surrounded by her love, generosity and endless supplies of perogies and cabbage rolls. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday July 5 ,2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm with Panakhyda (Prayers) at 8:00 pm. Funeral Service on Wed. July 6,2016 at 10 am in the Chapel. Rev. Fr. Tom Hrywna officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
