Obituary of Donald Bohdon Chapski

We are heartbroken to announce the passing away of Donald Bohdon Chapski on Friday, July 1st 2016 at age 83. Donald suffered a paralyzing stroke in 2014. We are grateful for the respectful compassionate care at HDGH " Emara Building. Donald was a loving, wonderful, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who was passionate about family, faith, and travelling. He is predeceased by his wife Stella Chapski and survived by his children John Chapski, Donald (and Anita) Chapski, Marie (and Andy) Spadafora and His grandchildren, Julia, Stephen and Nicholas Spadafora. Remembered by his siblings Les (Pat), Dorothy (Mike), Paul (Bev), the late Elsie and the late John. Donald was a proud retiree of Chrysler with over 30 yrs of service. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Monday July 4, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm with Panakhyda at 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends at Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (601 Lake Trail Drive, Windsor) on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 for visitation from 10:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Rev. Fr. Tom Hrywa officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
