I worked with Michelino at The Roma Club in Leamington for about two years. His skill and artistry in the kitchen were surpassed only by the joy he took in his work. His love for the club itself brought him as much frustration as happiness, but no matter what, he would argue for what he believed was best for all. He was a brilliant man, who could hold a conversation with anyone, covering any topic. No person was unworthy of Mike''s time or attention; I knew him to be gracious and patient. I''m genuinely sorry for your loss, but I hope it can be softened by the knowledge that Mike touched many lives, great and small, by sharing his voracious appetite for the things that matter most in life, those being good food, good music, and good people.
