Great neighbour. Loved the wreath you guys put on her front lawn. We just saw her picking weeds in the front lawn a few days before she passed. She was always tending to her yard. Good exercise and she was so healthy. She sure missed her husband though. She just gave me and our daughter a pair of slippers only 3 months ago. I have about 10 pairs from her already. What a sweet lady. So sad she is gone, but she lived a good life, never saw her sick. I hope Gisella & Fredo are together again.

I am so sorry for your loss. My family have lived across from Nonna for years. I remember she used to visit with my late Bubba Catherina and the two would talk for hours. The two would have competitions about who had the nicest yard and I always loved seeing Nonna outside gardening and cutting the grass with scissor. She was such a warm welcoming and warm hearted woman and she will be deeply missed.

Gisella was the tiny Nonna with the huge, huge heart and personality to match. I will miss our regular visits and phone chats and the joy she always extended to everyone, first and foremost to her wonderful family. She had her firm opinions, never stopped from expressing them, but in the end she would listen to the other side and respond with....Ya, I know. She was generous and loving and is leaving an enormous hole with everyone who knew her. She has left us much too soon. My last words to her on the fateful Sept 1st were - Gisella honey, you are with Fredo now. That was her greatest wish! Rest in Peace With deepest heartfelt sympathy Marisa

I have never met Mrs. Feregotto, but I do know Diana quite well. She is a leader, a listener, she is thoughtful, she has stable focus in situations when others do not, yet when needed can be tenacious to accomplish her intentions. Above all else Diana has an enduring love for her family. This gives me insight into how great her mother was by the woman she raised.
