Obituary of Michael Mailloux

MAILLOUX- Michael “Mike” Passed away peacefully on August 30, 2020 with his loving family by his side at the age of 76yrs. Loving and devoted husband of Karen (Nee Angus). Loving father of Mark (Kerry) Mailloux and Dean (Carrie) Mailloux. Loving Grandpa of Mason, Tavia, Owen, Ethan, Elizabeth, Jackson, Luke and Morgan. Predeceased by his parents William and Bernice Mailloux. Dear brother of Donna Adams, Mary (Pete) Renaud, Martha (Warren) Tonello. Dear brother-in-law of Larry (Vicky) Angus, Lynne Robbins, Pam Drake and Mary Ann Gough. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Mike was a retired District Chief with Windsor Fire & Rescue with 30 years of dedicated service to his community. Mike was an inductee to the Fastball Hall of Fame here in Windsor as he enjoyed playing sports in his youth and later years. Mike loved his family, especially spending time with his beautiful grandchildren. Special thanks to Bozena and all the sisters who were a tremendous help and support to Mike and all our family during his illness. At Mike’s request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) (519)253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Road E on Thursday September 3, 2020 from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm. PLEASE NOTE: Masks must be worn at all times while in the funeral home. A private Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 4, 2020 at Our Lady of Atonement Church followed by interment of his cremated remains at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
