Uncle Guilmond was a great, charming, strong human being, I have a lot of fond memories especially the Christmas ones nothing like traveling all the way from Toronto to Cornwall and then there were the ones when we lived in Merrickville and got to travel to Cornwall even more in the summer, then we moved to Green Valley and later on more fond memories with my Uncle and my daughter Suzanne. Then when I had moved to Cornwall I was happy to be back in my home town just to be closer to my Uncle...My Uncle use to sell Christmas trees not too far from where I was living and every year he''d come out of the trailer and pick out the nicest pine tree on the lot and he would deliver it to my place and not accept any money, so I told him "Uncle Guilmond please let me at least pay for the Christmas tree, nope, the deleivery, nope well then for the gas well then he laughed with that wonderful laughter and said to me "nice try" Uncle Guilmond you will surely be missed it feels as though a part of me went with....I wished that dad (Archie) your brother could of had one more time together. I LOVE YOU.
