Obituary of Anna Maria Colussi

COLUSSI, Anna Maria (Nee Zangirolami) Passed away peacefully on May 15, 2016 at the age of 86 years at Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus with her family by her side. Reunited with her loving Husband Desiderio with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Cherished Mother of Dario & wife Lori and Linda & husband Tony Di Pasquale. Beloved and treasured Nonna of Terra Fleming & fianc"e Shawn Smith, Katrina Colussi and Vincent Colussi , Peter Di Pasquale, Mark Di Pasquale and Lara Di Pasquale and fianc"e Carlo Rizza. Dear Sister of Rina Zangirolami, Imelda (Italo) Nalesso, Antonio Zangirolami, late Gianni (Maria) Zangirolami, late Teresa (late Walter) Pettenello, late Agnese (late Pompeo) Zandona, late Luigi Zangirolami and late Maria Zangirolami. Zia to many nieces and nephews and survived by extended family in Italy. Anna retired from General Motors Windsor Trim Plant after many years of dedicated service, was a member of Caboto Club-Ladies Auxillary and the Associazione Veneti. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday May 18, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 19, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer"s Society.
