Obituary of Maria Zadra

ZADRA, Maria (nee Cigalla) Passed away peacefully on May 13, 2016 at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare, at the age of 83 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Giovanni (2000). Loving mother of Randy (Renato) Zadra and wife Sandra, and Silvana Bontorin and husband Ivano. Treasured nonna of Robert and Michael Zadra, Jenna and Alexander Bontorin. Predeceased by her sister Giuseppina and husband Livio Ravanelli. Dear sister in law of Ida Dapoz and late husband Carlo (May 2016), late Luigi Zadra and surviving wife Silvia, Carlo Zadra and wife Silvia, Maria Zadra and late husband Eugenio; all of Italy. Adored zia to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Maria will also be missed by her dear cousin Emma Zadra whom she loved very much. Maria was a cook at the Cleary Auditorium for many years and a member of the Circolo Trentini di Windsor. Maria's greatest pride and joy in her life was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel), 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Avenue) for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
