Obituary of Janet Clifford

The family wishes to announce the passing of Janet on May 9, 2016 at the age of 71 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Bob after 53 years of marriage. She was a loving mom to Jean and Bob Northwood, Jane and James Hall, and JoAnne and Alan Daxner. Cherished grandma to Lynne (Bryan), Jessica, James (Stephanie), Courtney (Matt), Chris, Jamee, and Matthew. Great-"grandma Bear" to 7 plus one on the way. She leaves behind her brothers, Lloyd (Cathy), Andrew, Glenn (Carey), Mark (Dragana), and her special "sister" Marilyn. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Janet was known to her family as a professional volunteer. Whenever there was an opportunity, she gave her time. She was involved with being a brownie leader, Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, the CWL, Welcome Wagon, Hospice volunteer, and she was also active in Toastmasters. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will be held at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 10:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
