Obituary of Lydia Leoneda Henderson

Passed away on May 5, 2016 after a brave and courageous battle with her loving family at her side. Devoted and loving wife to Wayne for 50 years. Cherished mother to Sarah, and Natalie and husband Ryan Peters. Dearest sister to Alice, Bob (Madeline), and Joe (Patty). Predeceased by her parents, Tony Mary Anne Borg. Lydia will be sadly missed by her many extended family members and dearest friends. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Hospice Residential Home. Memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to Hospice of Windsor Essex County.
