Obituary of Donald William Reynolds

Donald William, 90 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 30, 2016. Beloved husband to Elvira (Babe) and the late Shirley Knox (1964). Devoted father to Becky (Dave, 2006), Bill (Cheryl) and Elizabeth. Grandad/Papa to Andrew, Neil, Graeme, Rachel, Sarah, Stephen, Lauren and great grandad to Peter. Best friend to Dave Fougere and friend Betty Sgrazzutti (2008). Dad proudly served in WWII as a signalman in the Royal Canadian Navy, first on the Corvette Dawson, and then at the Navel Base in Bermuda. He graduated from Assumption College and was a dedicated teacher and librarian at W. D. Lowe Secondary School for 31 years. He attended and was a supporter of Emmanuel United Church. Dad was a humble man who was a great listener and he lived his faith. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. on Friday May 6, 2016 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 7, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
