Obituary of Francesco Ieraci

IERACI, Francesco “Frank”

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank, a loving husband, father, and nonno on August 29, 2020, at the age of 92. Beloved Husband of Marcy (nee Colini) with whom he celebrated 62 beautiful years of marriage. Loving father to Rocky (Carol), Pio (Lisa) and Frank (Michelle). Cherished nonno to Daniel, Alessia, Christian, Maxwell, and Amanda. Predeceased by brother Albino and surviving wife Josephine, and the late Amelia Cotrona and husband Pepe. Dear brother-in-law to Bill (Kris) and Paul (Staci). Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, and U.S.A.. Frank was a life member of K of C Council #1453, Alhambra and the Giovanni Caboto Club. Frank was also a member and faithful parishioner of Most Precious Blood Church. We extend a special thank you to the staff at Regency Park and the staff at W.R.H. Ouellette campus, especially Dr. Elyse Epp, for their compassionate care provided to Frank and his family. Little did we know that God would be calling on you yesterday. We are sad that you are no longer with us, but your love and beautiful memories will always be with us. He was known as “Frank the Barber" to many, but to us he was simply Dad, Nonno or Uncle Frank. He was a people person, always had time to engage in conversation, always had a smile. Until we meet again, "Cheers to you Dad". We love you. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Knights of Columbus Prayers Tuesday at 4 p.m. A private funeral mass will be held at Most Precious Blood Church, followed by interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Frank’s life, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor-Essex, 2135 Richmond St, Windsor, ON N8Y 0A1, or the Canadian Red Cross, Windsor-Essex Branch, 3909 Grand Marais Rd.
