Obituary of Harold Joseph Rindlisbacher

RINDLISBACHER, Harold Joseph passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Predeceased by his parents Arnold and Rose, brothers Arnold and Donald, and sister, Pauline. Loving husband of Eleanor (nee Nussio) and adoring father of Peter (Ellen), Paul (Lois) Mary (and Fattollah Nejat-Bakhsh), Tom (Lisa), Tim and Julie (and Geoff Butler). Proudest grandfather of 15 grandchildren. Owner of Windsor Print & Litho for 49 years. Coach of minor hockey for a decade. Served on St. Clair Beach council for seven years. He was an innovator and environmentalist before his time, with remarkable drive and resilience. Harold had an enormous, kind and generous heart, amazing work ethic and indomitable spirit. He leaves an impressive legacy of love, and will be dearly missed. Donations may be made to The Heart and Stoke Foundation. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 7:30pm. Relatives and friends are requested to meet on Friday April 1, 2016 at Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory Site) 13789 St. Gregory Rd. St. Clair Beach from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery at a later date.
