QUAGGIOTTO, Maria Candida (nee Caon) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Nonna & Bis-Nonna. Maria peacefully entered Eternal Life on Easter Sunday March 27, 2016 at the age of 89. Born in Ramon di Loria, Treviso, Italy. Reunited with her husband the late Umberto Pietro Quaggiotto and her first born daughter the late Romilda. Beloved mother of Franco and Mary Quaggiotto, Livio and Rosa Quaggiotto. Adored "Nonna" of Paul & Sandra Quaggiotto, Michael & Martina Quaggiotto, Lisa and Anthony DiPonti, Jessica and Daniel Quaggiotto. Treasured "Bis-Nonna" of Giovanni, Nico, Stella, Maximo, Marcello & Gabriella. Predeceased by parents Romilda & Guiseppe Caon and in-laws Maria Martinello Visentin & Michele Quaggiotto. Dearest sister & sister-in-law of Edda Rulla (Luigino) (Australia), Pia Caon (Aldo Zen) Italy, Virgilio & Lydia Caon (Australia), Flora Caon (Australia), Clara Caon (Australia), Norina Caon & Nino Piccinin, the late Giacinto, the late Guido Caon, the late Elly Caon, the late Rita & Virgilio Bernardi, the late Primo Visentin, the late Giovanni Quaggiotto, the late Giovanina Rosa, the late Theresa & Angelo Favaro, the late Clara Piccinin, the late Elio Quaggiotto and will be sadly missed by many dear nephews, nieces, cousins and friends in Canada, U.S.A., Italy and Australia. Maria was a member of the Trevisani Nel Mondo. Mom will be fondly remembered for her love of her family and she will be remembered in our hearts forever. We would like to express gratitude for the kindness, comfort and compassionate care given Maria by her caregivers Patty (PSW) and at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd.E. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
