Obituary of Jacqueline Douglas

Passed away peacefully on March 24, 2016. Loving wife to Jim. Beloved most awesome mother to Debra Gill, Raymond Micklea, late Randy Micklea (2001), Tim Micklea (Sue), Jim Douglas (Maria), Kim McLean (Wayne), Barb Douglas (Brian Peltier). Cherished grandmother to Zachery, Jessica, James, Sadie, Samantha, Gordon, and Talia. Dearest sister to Vickie Vall (late Ray), Marie Ferguson (late Ozzie), and the late John Stasiuk. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and many others. Jackie loved being a Mom and taking care of her family. She was well known for her hugs, being a great cook able to make a great meal out of simple ingredients, making pies and her Sunday dinners. Jackie was a brave woman, courageous and strong. She kept her great sense of humour, and will always be remembered as the best mom ever. In accordance with Jackie"s wishes, cremation and a private family gathering has taken place. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to your choice of Hospice of Windsor, VON, Community Living Essex County or Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
