Obituary of Diane Elaine Sheldon

Sheldon, Diane Elaine (nee Langley) "Auntie Di" Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the age of 69. Cherished wife of Bill. Reunited with parents George & Evelyn. Lovingly remembered by brother Gary Langley (Kathy), sister in law of Marian Langley, late Dick Sheldon 2016 (Betty), Bob Sheldon (late Lynn 2004) and Janet Greenwood (Ken). Proud Aunt of Christine (Lee), Matthew (Jodi), Michael (Michelle), Lauren (John), Colleen (David), Christine, John (Karen), Leigh Anne, Jim (Sarah), Jennifer, Lisa (Marcus) and Jason. Beloved Great Aunt of 16 great nieces & nephews. Diane graduated from Walkerville High then went on to become an RN, graduating from Metropolitan Hospital School of Nursing and University of Toronto. Diane specialized in CCU and finished her 33-year career as the Director of Nursing at Scarborough Grace Hospital. During her 14 years of retirement she volunteered on Family Council projects at the provincial, regional and local levels at Malden Park and Aspen Lake. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME(Banwell Chapel), 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm, continuing on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery. In memory of Diane, donations to the Village of Aspen Lake Family Council would be appreciated by the family.
