Obituary of Sante Filice

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at home on March 9, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of late Rita Filice (nee Gioia). Loving father of Emilia Perissinotti and husband Bruno, and Pietro Filice and wife Connie. Proud Nonno of Carla, Rosanna, Giovanni, Alannah, and Sydney. Dear brother of Genoeffra, Anna, late Carmalina, and late Rosette. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and family. A special thank you to the CCAC, Hospice, VON, Hotel Dieu Hospital 7 East and special thanks to Fredirico from Bayshore and John V. from VON. As a young man, he apprenticed in carpentry and brought his trade from Italy to Canada. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016, in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1805 Hwy 3).
