Obituary of Tarcisio Zuech

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Born 1938 in Cloz, an alpine town in Northern, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 where he fell in love and married his beloved wife Rita (Nee Pedri) in 1967. Cherished father of Roberto (Dana), Bruno (Lori), Oscar (Sabrina) and Jimmy (Patti). Proud grandfather of Brandon, Lauren, Joshua, Juliana, Julia, Alexander, Ryan, Emma, Matthew and Jonathan. Precious great grandfather of Mila. He is predeceased by his parents Emanuele and Rina. Dear brother of Metilde, late Camilla, late Gemma, late Bruno, Mario, Paolo, Letizia, Domenico, Francisco, and Eleonora. Tarcisio will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. As a young man, he apprenticed in metal work and copper forming and brought his trade from Italy to Canada. In his spare time he often made metal railings and handcrafted fireplace inserts. Tarcisio was a man of many trades. "Tar" retired from Chrysler Canada after 25 years. Tarcisio enjoyed the Outdoors, Hunting, Fishing, and most of all spending time sitting around the dinner table with Family & Friends. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday, March 14, 2016 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1805 Hwy 3).
