Obituary of Adolph Cyril Meunier

MEUNIER, Adolph Cyril "Duff" Passed away peacefully on Friday February 26, 2016 surrounded by his family at the age 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Verna Joes Meunier (nee: Greaves - 2005). Cherished father of Elaine Smith, Gary (Donna) Meunier, Charles (Barb) Meunier. Doting grandfather of Laurie (Vito) Mariano, Cindy Drouillard, Charles Smith, Sara (Dave) Hodge, Christopher, Jason and Jessica Meunier. Proud great-grandfather of Ashley Smith-Van Horn, Madison & Nicholas Mariano, Parker, Matthew, Aiden Drouillard, Devan & Garrett Hodge, Dalyn, Logan, Gwendolyn, Sebastian, and Brady. Predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. Duff is remembered by Doug Drouillard and many nieces and nephews. He worked for 37 years at Chryslers, Plant #1, retiring in 1978. Member of the Local 444. Duff was known by many for his love of spending time with his family and playing cards particularly "31". A special thank you to the staff at Essex House Southwood Lakes for their love and compassionate care, you will not be forgotten. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 2-5 and 7 until time of Funeral Service at 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
