So sorry to hear about this - Quentin was a wonderful soul - happy, talented, always with a kind word and a smile. I was a very big fan of his music, and a fellow musician who got to play with him on several occasions at the FCC. I am very humbled and extremely fortunate to have known him; he always made life a little better to live for everyone... :)

I'm so sorry for your loss. Quentin was a great friend and a great person to be around. He was a fantastic musician. Especially when it came to rock. I know this after watching him perform at California's; Rumrunners and Penrod's in various rock bands. This city lost a great rock guitarist; a great sense of humour and above all a great human being. R.I.P.Quentin. Rock it up in Heaven.

So many years ago, we all shared so many laughs. LOTS of memories from your Grandma's basement on Armstrong, to Grace's house, to Jackie's house. You were always a great guitarist, and more importantly, a great friend. Smart, talented, and hillarious. Though we lost touch in the last decade or so, those memories from my early teens into my adulthood will always be with me, and so many others. Rest in peace, brother.

My condolences to the Makowski family for the passing of Quentin at such a young age. I grew up with him from grade school and hung out together. Remembering his first guitar a Gibson SG learning to play and then seeing him play countless times on the bar circuit enjoying his capabilities and the bands he was with. Being such a cool guy and a lot of cool memories I will never forget him or them Thanks Quentin for all it and that laugh of yours Bro. RIP

Hi to you both and my deepest condolences. I lived across the road on Mercer, Quentin and I use to hang out all the time. I have found out recently about Quentin''s passing and I am very sad, I can only imagine how you both may be feeling to have another inner family loss. I wish that I would have stayed in contact with Quentin over the years, I guess sometimes we go in different directions. I have been living in British Columbia for about 15 years and really enjoy it out here. I would love to here from you both, and if not than I wish you all the best. Sincerely, Jim Kane 250-938-5590
