Obituary of Giovanna Gesuale

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Giovanna with her loving family by her side on February 2, 2016. Reunited with her loving husband Sebastiano and parents Paolo and Avelina Imperioli. Adored Mamma of Toni Devittori, Angela (Peter) Martini and Linda (late husband John) Lo Mascolo. Cherished Nonna of Lani Devittori (Jay), Ryan Devittori, Robert (Stephanie) Martini, Peter (fianc"e Sara) Martini, Patrick Lo Mascolo, Sabrina Lo Mascolo and Vanessa Lo Mascolo. Treasured Bisnonna of Hailey and Amber. Dear sister of Elio Imperioli, Michelina Crescenzi, Italia Gesuale, Antonia Mariani and sister-in-law of Yolanda Conciatori, late Rosa Cortina, late Ruggero Gesuale and late Giovannina Imperioli. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Giovanna will always be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family especially her grandchildren. She was also a dedicated employee of Grace Hospital for 33 years and a proud member of the Ciociaro Club. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday February 5, 2016 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday February 6, 2016, Relatives and friends are invited to gather directly at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe) for words of remembrance at 9:45 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Giovanna, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Lung Association of Windsor.
