Obituary of Dragica Bazijanec

BAZIJANEC, Dragica (nee Zulijani) It is with saddened hearts that we say good-bye to Baka. Waiting for her in heaven is Dida, her loving husband Stjepan (1994). Predeceased by her parents Dragutin and Ruza Zulijani, her brother Vitomir. Survived by her sister Nevenka of Croatia, children George and his children Alana and Stephanie (Ian), Kresimir and his children Justina (Mike), Jadranka, Nikica, Mitchell and Steven and Karmel Brockman (Mark) and their children Alexander, Joseph and Matthew. Baka will be missed by 6 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her extended family in Croatia. Special friend to Marija Prepolec. Thank you to the medical staff in ICU at Windsor Regional Hospital and to Drs. Chao, Saad, and Penava for the excellent care received over the few short years. She was a member of the Windsor Croatian Centre, lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Prayer Group and an active Mentor to her grandchildren. East on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 10:15 am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
