Dear Christina, Marie, Teresa, Jo, Mrs. Lopes and the Lopes family, I remember Mr. Lopes so fondly. He was a gentle and kind man who went out of his way to make me feel special. From purchasing me my very first pair of chopsticks at dim sum (also a first) to Harvey''s burgers to making sure my car didn''t get scratched when I was at university, Mr. Lopes made sure to take great care. His kindness to me has left a lasting impression. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I have remembered him so fondly all of these years. I send to all of you my deepest condolences. I know he will be greatly missed by many. Angela

Dear Winnie and Family, We were very sorry to learn today of Tony''s passing. You may remember us living next door on Randolph from 1993-2006. Tony and Winnie were wonderful neighbours, so kind and friendly. We loved living next door to them and really missed them when we moved. We remember crying when we said good-bye. Our daughters Anna and Angelina also loved Tony and Winnie. They loved playing with Tony outside in the backyard. And they loved when Tony and Winnie would surprise them with little bags of Teddy Grahams. And they would always laugh at Tony''s silly jokes. Today, they are 13 and 11 years old and they still remember Tony''s funny stories. We will never forget Tony and you too Winnie and your wonderful kindness and open hearts. You both are truly very special to us and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Wishing you comfort and peace. Love Dave, Dora, Anna and Angelina Medved

I want to send my sincere condolences to Aunt Winnie and family for the loss of my wonderful Uncle Tony. I have lots of fond memories of going visiting them at their home in Windsor and eating delicious Dim Sum together and laughing at his cheesy/ "terrible" jokes. It always amazed me how he could remember so many jokes and how enthusiastic he was in telling them! His generosity, kindness and compassion for other people was a very memorable and honorable quality that touched me and this will not be forgotten. I am glad that he is now resting in peace.
