Obituary of Maria Maggio

MAGGIO, Maria Passed away peacefully on January 29, 2016 at 78 years of age with her loving family by her side. Loving wife of Aurelio Maggio for 62 years. Cherished Mother of Giovanna Labbate and husband Eric, Giuseppina Gagliano and husband Joe and Saverio Maggio and wife Tracey. Adored Nonna of Olga, Maria (Matthew), Anna, Leo (Suzie), Aurelio (Haileigh), Maria (Kenny) and Jennifer (Greg). Bis Nonna of Anthony. Dear sister of the late Pietro Sansica and wife Concietta, Enza Milano and late husband Franco, the late Fortunata Barcelona and late husband Salvatore and Giuseppe Sansica and wife Piera. Sister "in-law of the late Paul Maggio and wife Agata, Gabriel Maggio and wife Tita and Sam Maggio and late wife Vanna. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Italy. A special thank you to Sam Maggio and Maria Strataco for all of your love and support given to Maria. Also, thank you to the Hospice of Windsor for all of your care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Monday February 1, 2016 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday February 2, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
